Facilities Supervisor

Working with an ambitious and inclusive all-through Academy in West Yorkshire, we are seeking an experienced estates/facilities professional. The Facilities Supervisor will support the Site and Facilities Director in ensuring the Academy is safe, operational, and set up to allow the highest standard of teaching and learning.

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for:

• Maintaining the general school premises, building fabric, fixtures, and fittings.
• Conductingsmall repairs and DIY projects.
• Arranging larger repairs and obtaining quotes from contractors.
• Advising on site development projects and making recommendations on site use.
• Leading Health and Safety initiatives and ensuring compliance.
• Supervising the completion of Academy Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and site compliance checks.
• General labouring duties including portering, grounds upkeep and assisting contractors.
• Using Building Management Systems (BMS) to identify issues and control operations.
• Monitoring the safe and efficient operation of school transport.

The successful Facilities Supervisorwill have previous experience in security, estates/facilities, and front-line customer service work, preferably in an educational setting. You will be well versed in good health and safety practices, computer skills and be able to work on your own initiative with excellent attention to detail.

This is an onsite role, 37 hours per week, with 27 days per year plus bank holidays & twoweek Christmas closure.
