This role is perfect for those with a proven track record in improving standards and raising pupil outcomes, looking to either extend their experience or take on their first middle leadership role.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Geography curriculum that caters to diverse learning needs.
- Lead the Geography faculty, utilising your extensive teaching and leadership experience to drive success.
- Coach and motivate colleagues to achieve both individual and collective educational targets.
- Foster an innovative and creative learning environment to engage, enthuse, and progress learners.
- Ensure sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement within the Geography department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
- Ability to teach Geography to GCSE standard.
- Demonstrable experience in leading a team or faculty within a school setting.
- Strong organisational and motivational skills.
- Proven track record of improving standards and raising pupil outcomes.
- Experience in innovation and creativity in teaching methods.
