Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement an engaging History curriculum that caters to all types of learners.
- Lead the History faculty, drawing on extensive teaching and leadership experience to achieve high standards and pupil outcomes.
- Coach and motivate colleagues to meet individual and collective educational targets.
- Foster an environment that encourages innovation and creativity to engage and progress learners.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning, and ensure sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
- Ability to teach History to GCSE standard.
- Proven track record of improving standards and raising pupil outcomes.
- Experience in leading a team or faculty within a school setting.
- Strong organisational and motivational skills.
- Ability to engage, enthuse, and progress learners through innovative and creative teaching methods.
