Are you a passionate and qualified Science Teacher with expertise in Biology or Chemistry? The Education Network is seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher to deliver high-quality lessons and contribute to the academic success of students at both GCSE and A-Level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Biology or Chemistry, up to A-Level standard.
- Plan and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to a diverse range of learning abilities and styles.
- Monitor student progress through assessments, providing feedback to support academic development.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
- Collaborate with other members of the Science department to share resources and best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and relevant educational developments.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to achieve their best.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology or Chemistry.
- Proven experience teaching Science at GCSE and A-Level.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for science.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
