The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching A-level classes. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and challenging lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall development of the maths department
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field
  • Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level (KS3 and KS4)
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
