Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1 year expieriance working within school ( Required )
- Worked as a Cover supervisor, Teaching assistant, HLTA and/ or Teacher ( Required )
- ECT's Encouraged to apply
- Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.
- Demonstrated innovation and creativity in engaging, enthusing, and progressing learners
Day-to-day of the role:
- Arrive early to familiarize yourself with the school and the day's schedule.
- Review lesson plans left by the regular teacher and prepare necessary materials.
- Ensure the classroom is ready for students, including arranging desks, setting up technology, and organizing resources.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Manage the classroom and teaching equipment to create a positive learning environment.
- Attend meetings and carry out administrative tasks as required.
- Provide leadership for students within a caring and secure environment.
- Work collaboratively with the Principal, Senior Leadership Team, and other educational partners to promote and deliver the school's priorities and policies
- Deliver planned lessons, adapting as necessary to meet the needs of the students.
- Maintain discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Provide help and support to students with their work and answer any questions they may have.
