This is an exciting opportunity to teach Art, Textiles, and 3D Art at KS3 and KS4 levels in a secondary school in Bradford. You will join a committed team of educators, fostering creativity and encouraging students to express themselves through a variety of artistic mediums. The position is full-time, starting after February half term and continuing until Easter, with a strong possibility of extension until summer.

• Contract: Full - time role
• Pay Rate: £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates will be considered)

Essential Requirements

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Knowledge of GCSE Art specifications.

• Strong subject knowledge in Art, Textiles, and 3D Art.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and engage students.
• Proficiency in planning and delivering differentiated lessons.
• Knowledge of current educational practices and safeguarding policies.
• Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons in Art, Textiles, and 3D Art.
• Develop and implement engaging schemes of work.
• Inspire and motivate students to explore their creativity.
• Encourage students to develop technical skills in a variety of art forms.
• Support students in developing confidence and self-expression through art.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the art curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Promote extracurricular art activities and clubs.
• Uphold the school's policies on behaviour, safety, and inclusion.
• Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in events and initiatives.
