Health & Social Care Teacher Required for Secondary School in Bradford (BD5)

Are you a qualified Health & Social Care teacher? Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT, this opportunity could be the ideal next step for you.

We are working with a fantastic Secondary school based in BD5 who are looking to expand their Social Science department and inspire students around the health & social care subject. The role is advertised as full-time but part-time will also be considered for outstanding candidates. There will also be elements of teaching at KS5 level so experience in this area is desired but not essential.

About the role

The successful applicant will be joining a teaching staff who have high expectations of themselves and of students and such, have created an environment in which students can excel in their learning whilst being supported as teacher to develop your teaching, with opportunities to progress (TLR) if this is something you are looking for.

This is a full-time (part-time considered for exceptional candidates), long-term role for a qualified teacher who can fully commit to joining a school with a clear vision and strong ethos.

About you

  • A qualified teacher with a formal teaching qualification (NQTs will be considered for this role)
  • Confident teaching Health and Social Care at Key Stage 4 to a range of abilities
  • A passion for your subject and education in general
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt to new environments
  • A desire to work as a team with the rest of the department and the school
