The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position, starting on 22nd April 2025, teaching Key Stage 3 students. Position Description

Location: Bradford

Contract: Full-time

Essential Requirements

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 3 Maths in a secondary school setting (desirable but not essential for ECTs).
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learning.
  • Creative and adaptable approach to teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated maths lessons for Key Stage 3.
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Support students in developing their mathematical confidence and independent thinking.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, including maths clubs and competitions.
  • Set meaningful homework tasks that consolidate learning and challenge students.
  • Promote a growth mindset and a positive attitude towards maths.
  • Engage students with real-world applications of maths to inspire interest and motivation.
  • Support students in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
