A primary school I work with in Bradford is seeking to appoint a HLTA to join their dedicated team.

The school are looking for someone who can provide support for students and teachers and contribute to raising standards. This will involve undertaking a range of learning activities under the professional direction and supervision of a qualified teacher.

Job description:

Provide support to staff and pupils.

Help in the delivery of lessons aiding pupils learning and development.

Manage behaviour professionally and liaise with senior staff.

Deliver lessons in the teachers absence and plan your own activities/lessons.

  • The ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
  • Experience of working with children of a relevant age in a learning environment

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
