Sheet Metal Worker

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who has worked within sheet metal as a press brake, laser, punch or press operator, who is looking for an opportunity to become a fully skilled sheet metal worker. You will be responsible for producing fabricated assemblies to customer orders from galvanised steel.
As the Sheet Metal worker, you will:
- Manufacture items from galvanised steel of 0.8mm to 2mm in thickness
- Work with machinery including Coil-Line, CNC Plasma Cutter, CNC Brake Press, Hydroform folder, Metal Punch, Lockformer, Snaplock Punch & MIG-Welders.
- Learn to undertake welding, fabrication, press brake areas and general build and assembly processes
- Read and work to technical drawings
- Produce high quality fabrications whilst working to production deadlines
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and processes
As the Sheet metal worker, you will have:
- Experience of working within Sheet Metal
- Confident experience of working on press brake, guillotines, plasma cutters and punch machines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- The ability to work under pressure
- A hardworking attitude, be reliable with excellent timekeeping
