Key Responsibilities:- A Behaviour Support Worker provides both classroom and one-on-one support to help students stay focused and engaged.- As a Behaviour Support Worker you will adapt learning materials and activities to meet the unique needs of students, including those with SEN such as autism or ADHD.- A Behaviour Support Worker collaborates with the class teacher to tailor learning strategies.- As a Behaviour Support Worker you will offer emotional support, boosting confidence and encouraging self-esteem.- Behaviour Support Workers track and monitor progress, working closely with the school's SENCO to develop and review individualised support plans.
What We're Looking For in a Behaviour Support Worker:
- Experience working with vulnerable students in SEMH or PMLD schools is neccessary- A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to children's needs.- Strong communication and teamwork skills.- A genuine commitment to supporting children's well-being and academic growth.
