Hamilton Woods Associates are working with a Bradford based charity that is looking for a number of Housing Support Workers to work with clients facing homelessness. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis with scope to become permanent.

Responsibilities of the Housing Support Worker includes:

  • Providing housing related support and intensive housing management to those facing homelessness that have been referred by the Council for temporary accommodation
  • Managing referrals and conducting needs and risk assessments
  • Key working service users 2-3 times per week at their properties across Bradford
  • Fostering joint working with other agencies and services to provide holistic support
  • Providing practical help and support to service users
  • Updating the organisations housing management system with all contacts, support plans and risk assessments

Essential criteria of the Housing Support Worker include:

  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience within a similar supported living environment
  • UK driving license and access to own vehicle
