Accelerate Teaching is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Bradford. If you are passionate about education, possess experience in supporting young people with their learning, and are eager to make a meaningful difference, this role is for you.
We are seeking a committed individual with a background in providing classroom support, particularly with students who require additional assistance. Your work will be key in helping pupils reach their full potential by providing tailored support in both one-on-one and group settings. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play an essential role in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels supported and encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with individual learning needs in their academic progress
- Assisting the class teacher in creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
- Working closely with teachers and other support staff to implement personalised learning strategies
- Providing one-to-one or small group interventions for students who require additional guidance
- Promoting positive behaviour and fostering a nurturing learning atmosphere
- Helping to maintain accurate records of students' progress and achievements
