Our client is looking for a driven and passionate candidate who is AAT qualified and who is now ready to start studying for their ACCA/ACA or already on their way. In return they can offer a salary of 28,000 along with financial study support. In addition, they offer a genuine opportunity for mentorship and career development.
The role will involve providing accounting services to a wide range of clients across various business sectors. Duties include:
- Preparation of statutory year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Basic knowledge of personal and corporate taxation.
- Liaising with clients regarding accounts, tax returns, and other financial matters.
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Responding to ad hoc client queries via telephone or email.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are AAT qualified, or are qualified by experience
- Good basic knowledge across accountancy services and some experience of working in UK chartered practice.
- Have experience with accounting software such as Iris, Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
- Can work independently to meet deadlines.
- Have a friendly, confident manner, with the ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.
