The School and Role

This small provision that caters to children with SEMH and SEND, based in Bradford are looking to appoint a passionate Behaviour Support Worker to work on a Full-Time basis. Working in this provision as part of an established team, the desired Behaviour Support Worker will be working on a small group basis with pupils with SEMH and SEND needs and working alongside the other members of staff to promote good attendance and educational values. This Full-Time behaviour Support Worker role is long term and potentially permanent. The suitable candidates will have the opportunity to be enrolled onto our Team Teach training course.

Requirements

The desired Behaviour Support Worker will have;

  • Experience of working with children with SEMH and behavioural needs
  • Experience of working 1:1 with pupils or small groups
  • A passion for the progress of children with SEMH and previous experience with dysregulation techniques.
  • An ability to work well as part of a team and have professional values
