NextGen Teachers are currently working with a school close to Bradford City Centre that caters for Secondary aged students with Special educational needs and Behavioural needs. The school are looking for Learning Support Assistants who are available on a full-time basis and who can commute to Bradford (BD5). The school caters for students across the Secondary age range who live with; Autism, ADHD, Global delay, Physical and Medical needs and Social and Emotional Mental health needs.

We seeking a caring and compassionate individuals who have experience with SEN/SEMH needs. This role could also be suitable for a candidate who has worked in a Childrens residential home or as a Youth Worker or Support Worker for young adults.

Requirements for Learning Support Assistant:

  • Experience working with SEN/SEMH needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
  • Two professional references
  • The right to work in the UK
