SEND Teaching Assistant - School in Bradford BD20

I am currently working with a lovely school in Bradford who are urgently seeking Support Staff to support their secondary-age pupils to start immediately. These roles have the potential to go perm for the right candidates. The school need staff who are committed, reliable, interactive, patient and engaging and who are not easily offended.

About the role:

The needs of the pupils they cater for range from:

  • ASC (verbal and non-verbal)

  • Learning difficulties

  • Complex needs

We welcome applicants with a good understanding of working with students with severe ASC and profound, multiple learning difficulties and are enthusiastic about raising the attainment of their pupils.You will ideally have experience in supporting children with special educational needs or will have a passion for working with students with special educational needs. By being proactive and taking initiative, you are going to be able to build relationships with students and gain knowledge of a wide variety of needs.

These roles would ideally suit anyone with a care or nursing backround. Your skills are transferable in these positions.
