NextGen Teachers are currently working with a Specialist Provision located in Bradford who are seeking to recruit full-time Teaching Assistant to support there pupils with SEMH needs starting from ASAP for temporary to permanent contracts.

This Specialist SEMH School in Bradford caters for pupils aged 11-19 years of age who have Social and Emotional Mental Health needs and who are working on a Primary based curriculum.

We're seeking a candidate who is passionate about making a difference to pupils lives who have SEMH needs and have the experience / knowledge to deal with pupils who are at risk of crisis.

The role of an SEMH Support Assistant in this school will be to:

  • Support pupils in the classroom on a day to day basis
  • Working with multiple pupils and supporting students with 1-2-1 support and Intervention
  • Support pupils with their holistic development in line with there Educational Health Care Plans
  • Supporting and managing the behaviour of the students
