As an SEN learning support assistant, you will be working 1:1 with a pupil diagnosed with autism and challenging behaviour in and out of the classroom.

Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant.

Location: Bradford

The ideal SEN Learning Support Assistant should:

Required:

. Have experience working with SEN children on a 1:1 basis or in classes.

. Have knowledge and understanding of various SEN needs

. Be flexible, patient and proactive.

. Be able to communicate with staff members effectively and efficiently.

. Be trained in safeguarding or have relevant experience.

. Be able to commute to work long term on time and accordingly.

Desirable:

. Team Teach Trained

. NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.

. Understanding of the UK SEN Code of Practice.

Skills:

. Effective communicator

. Time management

. Patience and resilience in challenging environments

. Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
