Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are seeking dedicated SEN support staff to join our team in Bradford. In this role, you will work closely with students, providing individualized support and helping them achieve their full potential. You will collaborate with teachers to implement IEPs, foster a positive learning environment, and monitor student progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs, working closely with teachers and other professionals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support students in developing social skills and managing their behavior in a constructive manner.
  • Assist with personal care tasks as needed, ensuring the dignity and comfort of students.

Qualifications:

  • Direct experience in a similar role or transferable experience from a related field.
  • DBS on the update service.
  • Full-time preferred, part-time considered for the right candidate.
  • Additional training such as Team Teach is favorable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
