Veritas Education is proud to be working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school in the Bradford area, seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

?? The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN professional to make a lasting impact in the lives of young people. As an SEN TA, you will work closely with students with a range of additional needs, supporting them both in and out of the classroom to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

? The Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in working with children or young people with SEN (such as autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or social/emotional/mental health difficulties)

  • Confident in supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient with a genuine passion for education and inclusion

  • A strong team player who can also work independently under the guidance of teaching staff and the SENCO

  • Holds an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service - this is essential

�? Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing tailored support to students with SEN needs

  • Supporting classroom learning and assisting with differentiated tasks

  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider support team

  • Helping manage behaviour and promote positive learning environments

  • Assisting with record-keeping and feedback to teachers and parents where necessary
