Our Childrens Education Services at Prospero Teaching delivers individual specialist education programmes of support to children struggling across the West Yorkshire region (Bradford, Leeds, Halifax, Huddersfield, etc). We work nationally with young people who are facing difficulty in accessing or progressing in education. Who can benefit from our service?- Children out of school - Children Looked After - Children in Need - Children in school who require additional specialist support - Children who are underachieving - Children who require managed and supported transfers/transition - Children who are unable to access or maintain mainstream school - Children and young people with special educational needs

Where will teaching take place?At the young person's home, foster home, local library, or school. We also have online tuition opportunities.

How many hours are available?Tuition work is completely flexible, you can commit to as much or as little tuition work as you wish. It takes place anytime between Mon-Fri, 8am to 4pm depending on your availability.

Who provides the lesson plans?All lesson plans and delivery would come from you, however, if the young person has a school placement, we can put you in contact with their classroom teacher who will provide you with the gaps in learning which will give you a greater understanding of the pupil's needs.

What is the rate of pay?Salaries are paid on an hourly basis and will be dependent on your experience and qualifications. These range from GBP 25 to GBP 30 per hour.
