Calling all Plater/Flame Straighteners
Join one of the UK’s leading independent engineering and services firms, specialising in Modular and Offsite Manufacturing. Our client’s site is conveniently located near the M606 motorway in Bradford, BD11 with easy access from South Bradford, South Leeds, Birstall, Halifax, and Huddersfield.
Working Hours:
Working Monday to Thursday - you can enjoy a long weekend or take up occasional overtime on Fridays paid at a premium rate.
- Monday to Wednesday: 07:00 – 17:00
- Thursday: 07:00 – 16:30
The Role
- Shape, straighten, or correct distortions in metal components
- Prepare and fit metal plates for fabrication or construction
- Cut, shape, and secure metal in precise configurations
What you will bring to the role:
- Previous experience of Plating/ Flame Straightening
- Experience using Oxy- acetylene torches or other heat-producing tools to apply targeted heat
- Ability to use Measurement tools to ensure alignment and straightness, such as straightedges, levels, or laser alignment devices
