The role operates on a convenient Monday to Friday shift pattern, alternating between 6 am to 2 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm, ensuring that your weekends are free for personal time and relaxation.

In this role, the HGV Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a diverse fleet of heavy goods vehicles. This includes conducting routine inspections, diagnosing faults, and performing necessary repairs to ensure the fleet operates smoothly and safely. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of all work carried out, adhering to health and safety regulations, and collaborating with a team of skilled professionals.
Candidates for this role should possess the following skills and experience:
- A recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and components.
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A valid HGV driving licence is desirable but not essential.
