Vehicle Technician/ MOT Tester Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform MOT tests in accordance with legal standards and company procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Complete vehicle inspections and provide accurate reports on their condition.
- Work closely with the service team to manage vehicle repairs and parts ordering.
- Keep accurate records of all work undertaken and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining issues and recommending appropriate repairs and maintenance.
Vehicle Technician/ MOT Tester Skills and Experience:
- NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair and Maintenance is preferable.
- Extensive experience in vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems and the latest diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- Good communication skills with the ability to provide clear explanations to customers.
- A proactive attitude with a keen attention to detail and a focus on quality work.
