Logistics Administrator

Reed is recruiting on behalf of an award-winning company who strive to create a dynamic and inclusive work environment where every team member can thrive. Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Logistics Administrator to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Liaise with customers to book in delivery and installations
- Update outstanding orders with revised dispatch dates
- Maintain spreadsheets on short fall orders and communicate any delays to customers
- Prepare delivery notes and shipping invoices, and book transport via supplier portal
- Liaise with couriers for pallet and parcel deliveries, and freight forwarders for international import and export
- Coordinate sales and warehouse activities over deliveries and daily orders
- Raise delivery notes and invoices on shipping and prepare documentation packs for client approvals
- Support with maintenance of fleet e.g. booking in MOT and services etc
- Support sales team with ongoing customer communication
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
