Reed is recruiting on behalf of an award-winning company who strive to create a dynamic and inclusive work environment where every team member can thrive. Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Logistics Administrator to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Liaise with customers to book in delivery and installations
  • Update outstanding orders with revised dispatch dates
  • Maintain spreadsheets on short fall orders and communicate any delays to customers
  • Prepare delivery notes and shipping invoices, and book transport via supplier portal
  • Liaise with couriers for pallet and parcel deliveries, and freight forwarders for international import and export
  • Coordinate sales and warehouse activities over deliveries and daily orders
  • Raise delivery notes and invoices on shipping and prepare documentation packs for client approvals
  • Support with maintenance of fleet e.g. booking in MOT and services etc
  • Support sales team with ongoing customer communication
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
