Director of Learning- English

NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a school based in Bradford (BD8) for a DOL for Englsh. The school are seeking a dynamic Director of Learning for English to lead, inspire, and manage our English department. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced educational leader to have a significant impact on student learning outcomes, shaping the future of English education within our school/community.

As the Director of Learning for English, you will be responsible for overseeing the curriculum design and delivery, leading a team of dedicated educators, and ensuring that our students receive an innovative and high-quality education in English, both in language and literature.

Requirements:

  • A degree in English
  • Qualified Teaching status
  • Middle management qualification
  • Track record of 'Outstanding' Teaching
  • Ability to teach both GCSE and A level standard
  • The right to work in the UK
  • The willingness to complete an enhanced child DBS
  • Two professional references
