Milk Education are working in partnership with an Alternative Provision in West Bradford that require a Functional Skills Maths Tutor. Your role at this school will be a blend of off site and on site teaching, and with the main purpose of the role being to re-engage the pupils into education and get them to a position where that can leave school with a Maths Qualification. The School utilises a farm for therapy and engagement, so candidates must be comfortable working around farm animals. 

Maths Tutor roles and responsibilities:

  • Planning and Delivering one to one sessions and small group sessions to pupils aged between 11-16
  • Engaging the hardest to reach pupils
  • Adhering to all school policies

Requirements for the role

  • HLTA/QTS/QTLS
  • Working knowledge of national curriculum and other relevant learning programmes.
  • Ability to plan effective lessons
  • Expert knowledge of SEMH
