We are proud to be working on behalf of a successful Accounting Practice based on the outskirts of Braintree, who are looking to recruit a friendly and motivated Accountant to assist with the day-to-day operations of the practice.

The successful candidate will be working within a growing friendly office, responsible for undertaking high quality accounts preparation services for a diverse range of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of accounts from incomplete records
Preparation of business and personal tax tasks
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
VAT returns
Preparation of management accounts as required
Working and advising clients in relation to their software
Managing a portfolio of clients

Skills & Experience Required:

Experience within a practice setting, preferred
Drive and passion in offering a fantastic service.
Excellent communication skills.
Eagerness and drive to progress
Experience with VAT and statutory accounts is essential
