We are proud to be working on behalf of a successful Accounting Practice based on the outskirts of Braintree, who are looking to recruit a friendly and motivated Accountant to assist with the day-to-day operations of the practice.
The successful candidate will be working within a growing friendly office, responsible for undertaking high quality accounts preparation services for a diverse range of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of accounts from incomplete records
- Preparation of business and personal tax tasks
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- VAT returns
- Preparation of management accounts as required
- Working and advising clients in relation to their software
- Managing a portfolio of clients
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience within a practice setting is essential
- Drive and passion in offering a fantastic service
- Excellent communication skills
- Eagerness and drive to progress
- Experience with VAT and statutory accounts is essential
