We are working closely with a brilliant accountancy group based on the outskirts of Braintree who due to expansion are looking to bring on board a Trainee Accounts Assistant with the eagerness to progress within their practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of accounts from incomplete records
  • Preparation of business and personal tax tasks
  • Preparation of management accounts as required
  • Working and advising clients in relation to their software.
  • Mentoring and reviewing work of junior staff.
  • Managing a portfolio of clients

Previous Skills & Experience:

  • Experience within a practice setting (not essential)
  • Experience of completing financial statements and tax returns.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of clients.
  • Drive and passion in offering a fantastic service.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Eagerness and drive to progress
