Barnes Roffe have an opportunity for a Purchase Ledger clerk to join one of their clients based in Braintree, Essex.
This is a great opportunity working closely with the finance team, taking ownership of transactional finance in the business and working proactively in a busy and varied role.
The Role
- Purchase Ledger / Purchase Orders
- Checking statements
- Invoicing
- Credit Control
- Ad hoc duties when required
If you're the ideal candidate? You'll need to have:
路 Experience in a similar Purchase Ledger/Finance Assistant/Accounts Assistant role.
路 Sage 50 experience
路 High level IT skills, particularly MS Excel and Word
路 The ability to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy
路 Be self-directed and able to complete tasks with limited supervision
路 Immediate availability or a very short notice period.
路 A proactive approach and an ability to work independently
路 Strong inter-personal and communication skills
