Join Our Team as a Class 2 ADR Lorry Driver!

Our client, a leading crop production and grain marketing organisation in the UK, is seeking a dedicated Class 2 ADR Lorry Driver to join their dynamic team in Braintree. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a business known for its strong relationships with farmers and grain consumers, while effectively managing the arable supply chain.
Role Overview:
As a Class 2 ADR Lorry Driver, your responsibilities will include transporting dangerous goods safely and efficiently. You'll receive comprehensive training and support to ensure you're well-prepared for the role. transporting goods in both vans and lorries.
What We Offer:
- Contract Type: Temporary (4-6 weeks, with potential for extension)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 4:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime.
- Occasional Saturday Work: Not essential but may be required based on business needs.
- Pay Rate: 13 - 15ph dependant on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a Class 2 ADR lorry safely and in compliance with all regulations.
- Participate in training and risk assessments.
- Engage in manual handling tasks as required.
- Shadow experienced drivers to gain practical insights.
- Step in as needed when the primary driver is unavailable due to illness or holiday.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 ADR licence/certificate.
- Experience in driving lorries, especially with dangerous goods.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all regulations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work requirements.
