First Call Talent Solutions are looking to recruit a Semi-Skilled Machine Minder for our clients busy operations based in Braintree, CM7.

This exciting permanent role will suit someone from an industrial, manufacturing or technical role looking to learn all aspects of our clients machine and engineering operations.

Full training and company inductions will be provided.

This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis and has immediate interviews and starts available.

Role Summary and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning all various machines and checking equipment
• Assist with the maintenance and operation of packing machinery
• Setting up production lines for operatives
• Changing film and cleaning down the machines as and when needed
• When required assist with order picking and packing
• Assist on the production line if needed during busy periods
• From time to time when required, carry out manual work withing the warehouse including loading and unloading, packing and distribution

Candidate Skills and Experience:

Ideally candidates will come from a warehouse, manufacturing, technical or machine related experience, have a basic technical understanding and have an excellent attention to detail.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm.

Starting salary is from £26kpa + company benefits.
