The role
We are looking for a Civils Technician or Senior Civil Technician to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy based in Braintree. Specialising in Civil & Structural engineering, this well-established firm supports projects across residential, commercial, education and healthcare sectors. They are known for delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions, from initial feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
What you'll be doing
- Producing detailed civil engineering drawings and designs using Civil 3D
- Supporting engineers in the design of highways, drainage, and infrastructure schemes
- Working on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and public sector developments
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions

- Annual Leave: 25 days per annum (pro-rata: January - December) inclusive of 3 days for our Christmas office shutdown

- Probation Period: 6 months with a 3-month mid-term probation review.
- Hybrid working, applicable post 3-month mid-term probation review (3 days based in the office, 2 days working from home).
- Pension: Auto Enrolment into our scheme with Royal London following 3-month mid-term probation period (5% Employee / 3% Employer = 8% based on qualifying earnings).
