Our client is a privately owned group of companies who currently have a great opportunity for a Credit Controller to join their friendly team based in Essex. This is a hybrid role and would suit someone with a minimum of three years experience in a similar credit control role who is looking to progress their career within Credit Control.

In return you can expect to join a global business who will support your career and development and will offer a base salary of up to £29k plus a monthly performance related bonus of up to £600.

Your typical duties will include:

  • Managing individual ledgers
  • Credit checking before opening customer accounts
  • Chasing overdue payments via phone and email
  • Raising credit notes and re-issuing invoices
  • Ensuring debts are paid in a timely manner
  • Resolving internal and external invoice queries
  • Posting and allocating payments and invoices
  • Processing direct debits
  • Other ad-hoc duties
