Randstad Education is now recruiting a Reception Teacher to support an Early Years Primary setting in the Braintree area. As a Reception Teacher you will play a vital role in the early development of young learners, therefore you must have a passion for teaching and be able to create a nurturing and safe environment for all students.

At Randstad, all of our client schools have the ability to provide stimulating environments for young children to develop motor skills, core skills, confidence and imagination in learning. Early childhood education is a special and fulfilling field. You will have the opportunity to influence a child's destiny and participate in their early education, and in this role you will watch them develop, learn, and thrive no matter what the day brings.

This is a full time role that comes with the full responsibility of the class teacher, and is for the Summer term, starting mid-April. There may be the possibility of a more long term role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Motivate and inspire young learners .
  • Track student progress and collaborate with parents.
  • Safeguard children and manage disruptive behaviour.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential.
  • Engaging and interactive teaching style.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not an option).
