Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation in the industry, is seeking a talented individual to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and test distribution and MCCB panels to industry standards.
  • Work from technical electrical CAD drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Ensure component quantity and quality before each job.
  • Assemble wiring loom kits using various tools.
  • Conduct electrical testing, fault finding, and resolution.
  • Produce test certificates.
  • Work with limited supervision and initiative.
  • Meet customer despatch dates.
  • Maintain manufacturing records and ensure quality control.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Support management with any additional duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding technical electrical CAD drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Hours - The hours are 7:25 - 4:30pm Mon - Thurs and 7:30 - 1:10pm on a Friday.

Location - Braintree

This is a temporary position with the aim to move to a permanent contract after 3 months.
