Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Operative, you will be responsible for the correct assembly, testing, and packing of the product. Key responsibilities include:
- Adhering to EH&S standards, including COSHH and Risk Assessments
- Following working practises and procedures for the FSA Assembly area
- Assembling, quality checking, and testing products
- Packing finished goods and kits
- Utilising hand tools for manual assembly tasks
- Maintaining accurate logs and records
- Ensuring cleanliness of the area and equipment
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
- Receiving goods and organising them in the correct location
- Assisting with the annual Stock Take counting process
- Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with health and safety standards
- Performing any other reasonable duties as requested by management
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role
- Experience in a role involving electrical products
- Attention to detail
- Basic IT skills
- Good organisational skills
- Strong understanding of departmental documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Experience working with hand tools
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Experience with stock management
Technologies:
- Use of hand tools
