Responsibilities:

As a Manufacturing Operative, you will be responsible for the correct assembly, testing, and packing of the product. Key responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to EH&S standards, including COSHH and Risk Assessments
  • Following working practises and procedures for the FSA Assembly area
  • Assembling, quality checking, and testing products
  • Packing finished goods and kits
  • Utilising hand tools for manual assembly tasks
  • Maintaining accurate logs and records
  • Ensuring cleanliness of the area and equipment
  • Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
  • Receiving goods and organising them in the correct location
  • Assisting with the annual Stock Take counting process
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with health and safety standards
  • Performing any other reasonable duties as requested by management

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role
  • Experience in a role involving electrical products
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic IT skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Strong understanding of departmental documentation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience working with hand tools
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Experience with stock management

Technologies:
