Our client, a reputable manufacturer in their industry, is looking to expand their team with a multi-skilled Production Operator; ideally with CNC or joinery experience.

Whilst we appreciate you may not have previous experience in all areas, our client is happy to invest in training for the right candidate who demonstrates a can-do attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new skills.

This role will mainly be line based and includes:

  • Responsible for the safe operations of the assigned production lines and personnel, under limited supervision from the Production Supervisors, with the ability to follow a plan and meet targets.
  • Maximising flexibility of the manufacturing team by undertaking cross training and operating various equipment.
  • Expected to work across the factory to support the daily requirements.
  • Responsible for following Work Instructions, to oversee the safe operation of the line(s), and manufacture products to the defined quality standards.
  • Ensure Work Instructions are followed and work is only undertaken if trained and competent
  • Maintain good Workplace Organisation
  • Work as part of a team to meet key goals
  • Ensuring Product manufactured is to the customers' expectations
  • Escalating any quality issues that arise in the production environment
  • Responsible for achieving targets on their shift, namely:
  • Quality Targets
  • On-time delivery to plan

The hours of work are Monday - Thursday, 7am - 4pm; Friday 6am -12pm
