As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions and processes within the business. A strong emphasis is placed on people management, and the successful candidate will be a skilled leader who enjoys training, coaching, and collaborating with both their team and the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, manage, and develop a team of finance professionals.

Provide mentoring, coaching, and ongoing support to enhance team performance and growth.

Payroll Management
-
Prepare payroll for processing by the external payroll provider.

Financial Accounts & Processes
-
Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes.

Prepare and deliver financial accounts and reports.

Audit Management
-
Establish and monitor internal audit processes, including team training.

Collate and manage information for external audits, liaising with auditors throughout the process.

Job Profit Reporting
-
Design, implement, and oversee systems for individual job profit reporting.

Train team members and ensure effective monitoring.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

Prepare management accounts and analyse financial performance.

Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

Cashflow & Budgeting
-
Create and monitor cashflow forecasts and foreign exchange procedures.

Develop and oversee budgeting processes, ensuring compliance with filing and payment deadlines.

Financial Modelling & Data Analysis

Develop financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
