The role will require close coordination with various departments including, Goods In/Out and the factory.
The main responsibilities in this role are as follows -
* Loading and unloading delivery vehicles manually (if required).
* Using industrial hoover to clean areas.
* Labouring - removing metal parts from sand moulds and placing sand in recycling plant.
* General Labouring - sweeping, emptying bins, clearing areas.
* Operating cranes to weight and move parts.
* Work in a safe and efficient manner.
* Participate in company safety initiatives.
* Work to provide results in a timely manner in accordance with planned dates/times.
* Assist with improvements (Lean 5s) to procedures, equipment, operating methods etc. to increase efficiency.
Suitable applicants will be comfortable in use of a computer for Email, Word and Excel
Forklift Licence advantageous
The successful candidate will ideally display the following attributes -
* Hard working and self-motivated.
* Ability to use initiative to plan workload when required.
* Strong team working and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in Quality Assurance and process control
* Used to working in a heavy Industrial Engineering Environment
Hours of work
40 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 6.00am - 4.15pm
