Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor based in Braintree on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for organising production staff in order to complete workload efficiency, ensure standards of safety, output, quality and hygiene are maintained.
Roles & Responsibilities:
路 Container Unloading whilst operating a Counterbalance forklift truck.
路 Work safely in accordance with company health and safety policies, procedures, practices and legislation to correctly prepare packaging for food products with respect to container, label and coding.
路 Carry out cleaning schedules in the production and packaging area ensuring a very high standard of hygiene / sanitation is achieved, in addition, placing emphasis on the factory鈥檚 clean-as-you-go policy.
路 Palletise, wrap and label finished goods as required.
路 Complete all relevant process / food safety documentation
路 Pack/metal detect, inspect, products and established standards of weight control (25kg) weights.
路 Ensure food safety, legality and quality requirements are always met.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:
路 Strong communication & interpersonal skills
路 Experience in Food production chain (minimum 1 year)
路 Proficient in completing out food safety paperwork
路 Ability to work in a fast-paced, everchanging environment
Working hours are Monday - Friday 43 hours per week - starting at 07:15 with an early finish on a Friday.
In return our client offers a salary up to 拢35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
