Are you an experienced HR professional ready to lead and inspire? A family-run business is seeking a Group HR Manager (Part Time Maternity Cover), 3 days per week basis to join their team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape HR strategies, support the workforce, and drive organisational success.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop the HR team, providing coaching and ensuring training is up to date.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and stakeholders on employee relations and HR best practices.
  • Lead learning and development initiatives to enhance staff capability and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance by updating policies, contracts, and handbooks in line with legislation.
  • Oversee HR databases, payroll coordination, pension schemes, and GDPR compliance.
  • Manage recruitment efforts and foster staff well-being through regular meetings and venue visits.
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as recruitment agencies, lawyers, and union representatives.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Board of Directors and contribute to strategic discussions.

  • CIPD and /or equivalent HR Manager experience at a similar level
