A leading software and technology firm are expanding their team due to business growth and hiring an IT Server Administrator
You will be responsible for configuration, maintenance, optimisation and management for their Azure services to ensure they are high performing
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including virtual servers
- Install, configure and update server operating systems and applications
- Monitor system performance and troubleshooting issues
- Manager user access, permissions and server security
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations to manage risk
- Ensure server compliance
- Document system configurations, changes and procedures
- Provide support for escalated IT tickets related to the server
Your Experience:
- Experience managing Azure Cloud services
- Cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) - Desirable
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Lunux
- Ability to write and maintain scripts for automation (powershell & bash)
