We are seeking an injection moulding engineer ready for a new opportunity. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional interested in transitioning to an office-based position as a Technical Sales Engineer.

Our client operate in a niche market and therefore to be considered, candidates MUST have knowledge of the injection moulding process, ideally structural foam moulding, and reaction injection moulding.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and outline detailed tool specifications and seek quotations from toolmakers.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive quotations to customers.
  • Oversee the manufacture of tooling for successful quotations, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
  • Manage the introduction of new business, ensuring a smooth transition from initial quotation to full production, while maintaining strong relationships with customers.
  • Provide technical support to the mould shop, offering expertise on processing, tooling and materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of injection moulding process.
  • Knowledge of engineering structural foam moulding and reaction injection moulding
  • In-depth knowledge of plastic fabrication process may also be considered.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
