We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised logistics business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from £20 per hour. The role of Maintenance Engineer is based in Braintree.

This is a temp to perm role - you will be employed via First Call Contract Services for your probationary period before being offered a permanent contract if your performance has been satisfactory.

Shifts for Maintenance Engineer:

  • 07:45 - 16:15 Monday to Thursday
  • 07:45 - 15:15 on Fridays

Pay:

  • £20.00 per hour
  • Paid weekly

Main duties of a Maintenance Engineer:

  • To maintain the basic condition of the machines by means of reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Support breakdowns and minimise downtime
  • Driving a safe culture and eliminate safety risks
  • Ensure all work is completed to a good engineering standard following GMP and safe systems of work at all times
  • Demonstrate mechanical comprehension
  • Ability to understand and adhere to site health and safety protocols
  • Experience in planned preventative asset maintenance
  • Experience in root cause analysis tools / problem solving methodology
  • Demonstrate that you are a real team player
