Job Title: Cover Supervisor

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the continuity of learning during teachers' short-term absences. You’ll be responsible for supervising whole classes, ensuring students stay on task and continue their learning journey. The Cover Supervisor position is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining classroom experience, especially if you're considering a future career in teaching.

Key responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor include:

Supervising classes during the absence of a teacher.
Implementing lesson plans provided by teachers.
Maintaining order in the classroom and keeping students engaged in their learning.

While prior experience working in a school or with young people is desirable, it is not essential. We are looking for candidates with strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment. To be eligible for this Cover Supervisor role, you should have GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 or above.

Position Details:

Hours: 32.5 hours per week (08:30 - 15:30, including a 30-minute unpaid break)
